Atlas

The core of Atlas is basically an image viewer. However, it's the images that come with Atlas that make it worthwhile: a map for every instance in the game. Furthermore, the maps are marked with the locations of bosses and other points of interest. Atlas also includes maps of battlegrounds, dungeon locations, flight points, and outdoor raid bosses.

Cartographer (Rock) (Ace2)

Modular, lightweight, and efficient framework for manipulation of the world map. Battlegrounds - allows viewing of battlegrounds outside of the zone, Coordinates - adds coordinates to the bottom of the world map for the player and the cursor, Foglight - Shows unexplored areas on the map, Group Colors - shows party and raid members on the map as circles colored based on class, Instance Maps - shows maps of instances, Look 'n' Feel - allows you to change the transparency, position, and scale of the world map, Notes - lets you put notes on the map, like MapNotes, Professions - automatically tracks herbs and minerals, like Gatherer, Quest Tracking - Puts notes on the map when you accept or complete quests, Zone Info - on hovering over a zone, it will show the level of the zone, the instances in the zone, their levels, and the number of men the instance is made for (e.g. 5-man, 40-man).

Gatherer

Gatherer is an addon for herbalists, miners and treasure hunters in World of Warcraft. It's main purpose is to track the closest plants, deposits and treasure locations on your minimap. The addon does not track like a tracking ability does, rather it "remembers" where you have found various items in the past. It does this whenever you gather (perform herbalism, mining or opening) on an item, and records the specific map location in its history. From then on, whenever the item comes into range of being one of the closest 1-25 (configurable) items to your present location, it will pop up on you minimap. When you view your World Map, you will also see the item locations marked on the particular map you are viewing there.

GatherMate (Ace3)

GatherMate is a lightweight node tracking addon. it is intended to replace Gatherer and/or Cartographer_<profession>. It is map mod independent, and devoid of library dependencies. A full data dump from Wowhead can be loaded, or you can import from Cartographer.

Tracksw is an addon for GatherMate that will automatically switch your tracking depending on the nodes in the area. Perfect for players that have both Mining and Herbalism. It can be found here.

Mapster (Ace3)

Mapster is a very simple and effective Map replacement AddOn. It modifies the WorldMaps Display and adds new features and enhancements. As of now, it basically replaces Cartographer_LookNFeel, Cartographer_Coords, Cartographer_GroupColors, and Cartographer_FogLight, and all that in 20kb of code (not including the Data needed for FogLight).

TomTom is your personal navigation assistant in World of Warcraft. This addon is very simple, but provides a nice set of functionality.A draggable coordinate display showing hundreth precision, this frame can be hidden or locked. WorldMap display of player and cursor coordinates, these displays can be hidden.
